This Practice Group begins with a "remembering" for inspiration, centering and connecting with ourselves. This is followed by a "check-in" when we share how we are, what we bring with us or what we hope to receive during the session. Activities include: short education exercises, empathy, role-plays, games and discussions. Participants can facilitate the group with prior arrangement with Rodger Sorrow

This modular course is designed for people who have already done four days NVC training. It includes an introduction to Focusing and will be co-led by Annie Rankin and Elizabeth English. "The Living Energy of Needs" supports the ongoing development of
foundational NVC skills and consciousness. In addition to supporting
core NVC skills, we have continued to develop our training over the
past five years to help participants practically access and live from
a deeper dimension of needs. We weave the experience of the living
energy of needs throughout the training, as the core dimension from
which we learn and live the NVC process.

   situations and to do the work to experience the shifts that will take
   each of us to the next level of NVC consciousness.

   Sample topics include: dealing with reactive triggers, staying
   connected with yourself in tough situations, dealing with emotional
   intensity (including anger), and giving and receiving honest feedback.

3. Coached Practice in Sharing NVC (primarily for those already facilitating & teaching)
   • Get a chance to practice your skills in
     • Teaching
     • Leading / facilitating groups and/or
     • Mediation.
   • Learn by doing with coaching and guidance
   • Tailor your practice to the level and type of challenge you want, whatever your level of experience.
   • Receive
     individualized feedback on your unique strengths and opportunities for
     learning at this point on your NVC journey from these four very
     experienced trainers and mediators.
4. Support for a Variety of Learning Styles

While the majority of the workshop is designed to provide experiential
learning, there will also be opportunities for those who enjoy learning
by observation, and those who benefit from enhanced conceptual
understanding of the principles that underlie NVC.

NVC enables us to connect empathically with other people, and helps us
to help them to connect empathically with us. But what do you do when
you are feeling angry or upset to the extent that you don't want to
empathise with them? And they feel the same about you?! We call this
empathy collision, and on this day we will explore what is happening in
these situations and how we can get around this impasse. This day will
be practice oriented, to help you develop and rejuvenate your skill
with NVC.

Help to create life-serving school communities. A group of 3 certified NVC trainers and educators will come together to explore using NVC in our classrooms and in our lives. With engaging experiential exercises, role-plays, journaling, and didactic presentations, we will support your process of applying NVC principles and practices into your children's learning environment.
