Guided by Myra and Jeff and drawing on the powerful process of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), we will focus on creating peace, harmony and wholeness within ourselves. Hosted by the
NVC Academy, this training will be small enough to provide personal attention. You willhave an opportunity to:* Transform guilt, shame, fear and depression into life-serving energy;* Discover the gift of anger and practice safe and effective ways of releasing it;* Heal past experiences contributing to current pain through empathy;* Increase self-acceptance and self-love;* Liberate yourself from suffering by understanding those whose behavior stimulated rage or shame in you;* Identify and fulfill unmet needs, leading you to be more fully authentic and alive; and* Connect with the spiritual dimension of NVC.--------------------------VIDEOTAPING:We want to share this valuable work as widely as possible, and plan to videotape this event. We believe a videotape can enhance the learningexperience of those who attend the workshop, as well as give others a sense of what the workshop was like. In addition, we are excited toshare this work with others, and believe a video can help us do this.
The filming will be done by people from the NVC Academy, and therefore they will be sensitive to the personal and sensitivenature of this work. While our hope is to capture as much of the workshop on film as possible, we also intend to support the autonomy ofparticipants, so you will have choice about whether you are filmed doing personal work.-----------------------------------FEE REQUEST:

As I share that experience with my family and try to integrate NVC on dailybasis, I just can’t believe how amazing it all is . . . it was and continues to be so miraculous! It makes it all so complete to be able toshare it with my husband and son...- J.B., Woodstock, NYBoth Jeff and Myra were able to compassionately articulate the NVC model and lifestyle by giving us real life examples, role plays, and coachingas they presented each topic. The interactions I observed between Jeff and Myra were beautiful to witness. The interactions enabled me to seethe NVC model in action and feel the passion, peace, and intimacy that NVC enables in day to day living. I was able to 'see' the authenticityand integrity of NVC. By witnessing this beauty, I am motivated to continue my exposure, practice and education in NVC...- A.M., Columbus, OhioThe retreat met my needs for learning and growth, for connection and acceptance and self-acceptance. You work so well with each other in allof your communication. I appreciate the simplicity and clarity of the handouts... I especially appreciated the examples each of you gave fromyour own life journeys and the healing role play sessions.- J.D., Warrenville, IllinoisI felt such playfulness and life and kinship and connection with you as you taught.- T.L., Holland, MichiganThere are no words that can adequately describe the impact the retreat had on my life. Theseskills apply to thought, language, and a commitment to a certain use of power. NVC is a learnable process for creating emotional freedom,self-acceptance, inner peace, and fulfilling relationships. It involves expressing ourselves honestly, listening with empathy, and developing a more compassionate inner relationship. People around theworld are using NVC skills to transform conflict, create harmony in their relationships, and build a world where everyone's needs are metthrough compassionate giving, and without the use of coercion or violence.
